Used Porch.com to schedule a project. Done.com was okay'ed by me for them to do the job 4 days prior to do a 2 hour job.
They were quick to set a appt day and send an email. I cancelled on all other businesses that said they were ready. Done.com, on just the day before the scheduled/planned appt, less than 20 hrs before the project called me about site location. The Proj Mgr or someone said their guys were all 25+ miles away from the work site.
They didn't say that they could do this job at a later date. They just said they can't even do it. I don't know whether they felt the cost was not worth the drive, but as a business owner, I wouldn't care if it was 50 miles away, or even if they had to re-schedule, esp. when the customer had taken time out of day.
Nope, they said that they couldn't service the job. This is my last time using "un-"Done.com Pissed in IL.
